NIST 2.0 Cybersecurity Framework

The NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 is a set of industry standards and best practices to help organizations manage cybersecurity risks. It is composed of five key functions:

• Govern: Establish oversight and accountability to manage cybersecurity risks.
• Identify: Develop an understanding of the cybersecurity risks to systems, assets, data, and capabilities.
• Protect: Develop and implement appropriate safeguards to ensure the delivery of critical infrastructure services.
• Detect: Develop and implement appropriate activities to identify the occurrence of a cybersecurity event.
• Respond: Develop and implement appropriate activities to take action regarding a detected cybersecurity incident.
• Recover: Develop and implement appropriate activities to maintain plans for resilience and to restore any capabilities or services that were impaired due to a cybersecurity incident.

Each of these functions plays a crucial role in helping organizations to prepare for, respond to, and recover from cybersecurity threats.
